This is a public service announcement.

If you’ve taken your kids to McDonald’s lately, or you’re an adult who prefers to partake in smaller portioned combos like the beloved Happy Meal, then you’ve likely noticed the latest cartoony and colourful designs on the packaging plus the matching signage at your local McDonald’s.

This gathering of intellectual properties isn’t arbitrary, nor is it a joke. This is very much an intentional marketing push by Warner Bros. to announce to the world (or McDonald junkies) that their free-to-play, Super Smash Bros-like fighting game MultiVersus will be (re)launching May 28th, 2024.
