Explanation of MIDI

Midi, Musical Instrument Digital Interface is a protocol that connects computers and electronic musical instruments together.

Why ?

In past, musicians were have some different equipments. For exmple 2 synthesizers. They want to use keys of one and sounds of another at a time. Day by day Midi appeared. Midi makes possible to use keyboards to send Midi messages. Sender hardware , for example midi keyboard sends midi messages to reciever midi hardware. Midi reciever can be a sound module or computer.

When you try to send a message from your sender device, reciever device got message and process it. As a result reciever is performer and sender is planner.
