Final Cut Pro is coming to the iPad, and I needed to be ready…

The 12.9" iPad Pro ($1799) with Magic Keyboard ($349)

Dangit, Apple! You had to put Final Cut Pro on the iPad right when I paid off my Mac Studio and Studio Display. As a YouTuber who makes content all about Final Cut Pro and Apple products, I felt it was my duty to place myself on the bleeding edge of reporting and teaching Final Cut Pro for the iPad.

So here we are.

I’ve had an iPad mini since the latest version was released, and I use it here and there for a range of simple things. I’ve got an article here all about that: https://medium.com/midland-pictures/six-ways-i-use-my-ipad-mini-daily-for-content-creation-88feef361af

But I’ve never used an iPad like the 12.9" iPad Pro, especially when paired with Apple’s Magic Keyboard accessory that turns the iPad Pro inot more of a notebook than an iPad.

So let’s get into some quick hit thoughts that sum up my first impressions of it as I’ve — over the last week — made myself use it in place of my notebook as I gear up for Final Cut Pro’s release.
