Could the VisionPro bring back this powerhouse app that was discontinued in 2011?

Final Cut Studio was long considered to be the future of post-production…until it was deleted.

It’s 2024 and all of us in the Final Cut Fam are ready for what’s next from Apple with our beloved editing app — Final Cut Pro — and while we wait many of us will continue to explore Final Cut Pro for iPad, Final Cut Pro 10.7 and — quite possibly — using Final Cut Pro in this new world of Spatial Computing.

Now while processing all of these developments with Final Cut Pro, I took some time to clear my mind to focus more on the big picture with Final Cut Pro and Apple especially…

Now Apple’s guests at the Final Cut Pro Creative Summit this past November — these are the people who met with the Final Cut Pro team at Apple’s headquarters — they said that they were told that the Final Cut Pro team has plans laid out for Final Cut Pro for the next five to six years.

And that got me thinking…

Could the debut of Final Cut Pro on the iPad mean the eventual return of Final Cut Studio for the Mac?

You might be thinking, “How does Final Cut Pro on the iPad make you think they’re going to bring back Final Cut Pro Studio?”

Hear me out.
