The Saint Augustin Elysees is a small boutique hotel tucked away from the main high streets of bustling Paris.

Only a stones throw away from the local metro station it offers 63 simply decorated rooms which are small in size but grand in function and necessity. If you have not previously travelled or stayed in an European city, you will realise the hotel rooms are smaller than the norm and might be a bit of an issue for those who suffer with claustrophobia. We thought it was manageable, especially if you are just staying for a long weekend.

Everything is clean and elegant and the free wifi is a major bonus. The breakfast is like most in continental Europe and they even offer complimentary soft drinks and snacks between 1pm - 9pm, which is a nice little touch. For the price you pay, you can’t go wrong with this little gem.It is away from the noise of the crowds but close enough to all the big tourist sites.
