A Season of Strange

Darkness.
A cold cave.
Held like
a slave.

Mysterious
man in a cloak
stomps steps,
peaks and leaves.

Heavy gate
squeaks open.
Like a luminaire,
spirit kindles.

Awakening marvel,
flying to the exit.
Blissful and ethereal
transformation.

Blinding glow
irradiates to
trace the path of
dark to light.
