Short-Sighted — January 2019
We dove into the new year head first — starting the development of an original TV series for the wonderful Oskar Bård, while simultaneously launching our new event and venture In Development. Between all the madness and bits of something that might resemble a life, I managed to discover a handful of great short films.
Here are 5 of the best from last month:
Title: The Idea of North
Director: Albert Choi
Year: 2018
Title: Cock Robin
Director: BobBenedict
Year: 2015
Title: Derby Kiss
Director: Fanny Hoetzeneder
Year: 2018
Title: Tanglewood
Director: Jordan Prosser
Year: 2016
Title: What does it mean to be a man?
Director: Kaj Jefferies and Rosie Matheson
Year: 2018
This is a journal series
So follow me or the Midnight Oil if you’d like to see where it leads and remember to checkout the rest of the series if you haven’t already.
As always, if you enjoyed a film, please make sure you give it your support by hitting the like button and sharing it.
Most of the films that make it onto these lists have been recommended to me by friends and colleagues, so if there’s a short film you think I should watch, I’d be happy to hear about it.
