Blue banana moon
Shines in through my front door
I know it wants to talk to me
But I don’t listen anymore

It doesn’t matter if you’re lonely
It doesn’t matter if you’re blue
It doesn’t matter if you go to school
Or if you just play the fool

Everything begins
And everything must end
Some people hide their problems
And others just pretend
Others just pretend

Blue banana moon
Shines in through my front door
Life pretends to be your lover
Then it leaves you wanting more
