Please do see their analysis from their website. And I will add their video at the end of the post.
I would like to talk about the problems happening regarding plastics:
1)Harms to water resources:
Incase of water resources, we can divide the devastation into 4 parts:

a)Physical Impact on marine and aquatic life: Entanglement, starvation and ingestion.

b)Chemical Impact: the buildup of organic pollutants like PCBs and DDT.

c)Economy: long-term damage to fisheries, shipping and tourism industry

2) Harm to Land Resources:

a)Toxic Effects: Plastic cause diseases and decreases immunity power of living beings.

b)Eco-system effects: decreases soil fertility and disrupts food supply chain.

c)Economy: long term damage to bio-diversity and sectors which cause economical damage.

Ways to end plastic pollution:

1)3R’s: Recycle, reuse and reduce.

2)Social Awareness: General public should take initiative to solve problems.

3)Support Bans: Plastic made from poisonous element like microbead and others should be banned.

4)Industrial waste control: Big brands should control the supply chain and take responsibility to recycle.

5)Waste Management: Both govt. and public should be serious about segregation of waste.

6)Plastic conversion: Convert plastic into oil and energy.

and many more.

Over the years, we consumers are providing them revenues and love. They are contributing to economy providing taxes and creating jobs. At the same time, they are causing environment pollution and releasing thousands of plastic materials to environment. They are not even revealing the number of plastic are produced and actual number of waste. It is high time, brands should take responsibility to remove harmful plastic elements.

That’s for all now. On next blog we will discuss on importance of Circular Economy.
