A lot of Mighty CEOs launch their business by marketing to family members — parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles all make great first customers! Don’t forget that your friends are also potential customers. Here are three tips to help you market your business to your friends:
#1 Add products to your store that your friends will love
Think about the products that your friends want to buy and make sure you’ve put those products in your store. Three of our favorite products for friends are friendship bracelets, blank notebooks, and school accessories. And if you’re not sure what products to pick, face masks are always a good pick — face masks are the best selling item on Mighty and everyone needs them!
#2 Reach out to your friends in the way that you usually communicate with them
Do you usually communicate with your friends through text messages, Facebook Messenger, Zoom calls? However you usually communicate, that’s how you should tell your friends about your business. If you don’t usually send emails to your friends, email is probably not going to work too well for this :) If you’re unsure of what to say, keep it short and simple — just tell your friends you started a business, ask them to check it out, and don’t forget to include your shop link.
#3 Offer to help your friend become a CEO too!
