Well, we left with a bang…for our last week in Argentina, we’ll just let the pictures do the talking, and follow up this post with one more of our final “day” and trip home, with a reflection for the family to remember this trip. In the meantime, in our final week we made it to Uruguay, an amazing street art tour in Buenos Aires, and some last time good bye stops. Parents are more emotional about it than the kids!

Uruguay — Colonia del Sacramento — We took a ferry to Colonia del Sacraemnto, a historic town in Uruguay that’s a designated UNESCO world heritage site. The pics that follow show a bit of the town, including Mae touching another cactus, Will walking endlessly around the ferry, and Emma collecting a ton of sea glass!

Will walked around the ferry for the entire 85 min. journey….
Apparently they don’t collect sea glass in Uruguay, so the girls collected bag fulls. This was their searching terrain.

Mae, don’t touch the cactus….please don’t. Mae, do you need a bandaid?

Street Art Tour—Buenos Aires is known for it’s vibrant street art. We took a three hour walking/van tour to check it out. Here are some of Emma and Mae’s favorites. We bought a few prints for the kids to have when they are home. Ended up being a really neat tour. And they decided to give Will that hairstyle, which lasted for about an hour.

Last Day walk to the Market — On our last Sunday, we went shopping at the San Telmo Markets, and bummed around town a little bit before meeting our friends for a final dinner….Mae also came on 5K run with me, which was amazing.

Love from us!

ps: Can’t resist cute mr. Will pics…and the kids had a blast a trapeze/acrobatics birthday party…
