Ethiopian Protest in DC

I got roped into covering the Ethiopian protests DC last week, (9/19). It was a moving event. The diaspora based in DC, New York, Philadelphia, Texas and Ohio all came out to protest against the current Ethiopian government and to ask for the the U.S. government to withhold support.

If you don’t know what’s going on in Ethiopia I suggest viewing/reading here, here and here. In short, it’s a hot mess of land grabs, ethnic killings and political murders orchestrated by one of the most authoritarian governments in the world.
