Area Relax is the first nature getaway. This is a local public park with lush green grass in addition to a local skate park and children’s playground. With plenty of open space, this destination is ideal for those seeking to lay out a yoga mat or soak in some vitamin D. Being located near Bicocca village, a suburban area, this park is well kept and great for children and family. The park has beautiful scenery, with trees full of colorful flowers in shades of pink and purple. It is important to note that this park is roughly 40 minutes from the city center; however, it is well worth the commute. Area relax is not only appropriately named, but an ideal get-away location.

3. Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli

Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli is the oldest city park in Milan and one of the largest, with its current area spanning about 172 m2. The park is home to a pond, multiple playgrounds which are designed for people of all sizes, and a few historical monuments. You can find the Milan Natural History Museum here as well as a Modern Art Gallery. Pubblici Indro Montanelli is a dream for anyone who enjoys an outdoor workout. The English inspired gardens are composed of meadows and ponds and lend themselves beautifully to a day of peaceful sightseeing.
