Former Brewers pitcher Alec Asher elected free agency on Oct. 11, and then elected to propose to his girlfriend with a gigantic, enormous diamond ring. The moment happened on a boat, and the question was posed via icing on cupcakes:

Uber Eats [allegedly] stole fries from Marlins’ Yamamoto

Marlins No. 17 prospect and Oahu, Hawai’i native Jordan Yamamoto wanted some french fries this past weekend but did not feel the aloha from his Uber driver, who allegedly ate the ono grindz:

Uber was quick to apologize:

It’s been a tough November for Jordan, though. This was his second angry-faced emoji tweet in three days in the wake of the itch he couldn’t scratch:

And he’s homesick for Hawai’i. Aren’t we all:

I love Hawai’i, so this is now my excuse to include some photos of Hawai’i here. Enjoy:

Tim Tebow in a military jet? You know that’s making Minoring in Twitter:

Tim Tebow, game show host? Yes. It’s happening. The professional baseball player, T-shirt model, ESPN/SEC Network analyst, Nissan spokesman, best-selling author, philanthropist and former NFL and Heisman-winning quarterback is now the face of LeBron James’ new CBS show, “Million Dollar Mile:

Here, Tim Tebow defends buttoning his shirts all the way up in a tweet from Stephen A. Smith:

And here he is in the exact same shirt with a young fan:

Peter Alonso, fellow Mets prospects have heated debate over [delicious] pineapple pizza

Peter Alonso often thinks about biting into a crispy, juicy, bold slice of pineapple pizza between pitches.

Mets prospect Joseph Zanghi ignited an important dialogue on Twitter: what classifies as pizza. That question — about whether white pizza is pizza — turned into a back-and-forth on pineapple:

Former Met Kevin McGowan then chimed in with a poor take on pizza:

I’ll correctly state right here that pineapple on pizza is delicious and acceptable. As someone who has been sampling and eating a variety of pizza for more than 30 years in the New York metro area — New York, pizza capital of the universe — I think my opinion counts for something. Kevin McGowan is from Nashua, New Hampshire, not exactly a pizza destination.

Zanghi piled on the pineapple hate:

Another Met, Dave Roseboom, also took a shot at pineapple pizza:

Finally, Peter Alonso, the Mets’ No. 2 prospect, stepped in and stood up for pineapple:

As someone who has spent a good amount of time in Hawai’i the last few years, I would note that pineapple pizza — or Hawaiian Pizza, if you’re adding ham — isn’t really a thing out there. In fact it was created by some guy in Ontario, Canada. But pineapple is delicious and the combo, especially paired with bacon or ham, is a nice salty-and-sweet flavor on crispy, cheesy crust. It’s OK to admit you like it. The №1-rated pizza place in Manhattan, NY Pizza Suprema, offers pineapple/Hawaiian as one of its standard pies:

Chad Kreuter, a manager in the Mets system, nearly stepped on a snake:

What’s worse: spiders or snakes?

Tigers right-hander Kyle Funkhouser was crying after stumbling upon the Friends finale (a situation Kelsie has found herself in many a times):

Blue Jays right-hander Josh Winckowski is a psychopath, he says, and he needs a worthy walk-out song to warn opposing players:

How many people have shower playlists?

Red Sox prospect Devon Fisher is jealous — or maybe just in awe — of former Red Sox foe Mariano Rivera:

Winter sucks, reports Royals shortstop and Illinois native Nicky Lopez:

Don’t get in Ernie Clement’s way:

Pixar dropped a teaser for Toy Story 4, and Minor Leaguers decided it was lit:

Forget Toy Story — it’s all about Detective Pikachu:

Free agent Nick Rickles reports on a life hack from Chick-fil-A:

Yankees right-hander and 2013 13th-round pick Cale Coshow says wrapping presents is too hard:

Cale Coshow, bad at gift-wrapping but terrific at tree-growing and tree-cutting:

Trade breaks up friendship:

Trenton Kemp tweets about food:

What is the worst song ever created? The correct answer is the “Kars 4 Kids” commercial jingle.

Trenton is also selling Converse All-Star baseball cleats with noticeably cheap (but not free) shipping:

Will Chipotle sponsor A’s Minor Leaguer Jonah Bride?

Finally, here’s my Chipotle lunch from today:
