Astros 1B Jon Singleton, Triple-A Oklahoma City: 3-for-5, HR, 2 RBI, 2 R, K — See Polanco, but with .349/.438/.762 triple slash.

Dodgers OF Joc Pederson, Triple-A Albuquerque: 3-for-5, 2B, R, K — Also a familiar face in these parts. Left-handed 21-year-old is slashing .436/.551/.800 with five homers and five steals. Also has more walks (14) than strikeouts (12). Just needs somewhere to play in L.A., at this point.

Giants LHP Adalberto Mejia, Double-A Richmond: 6 IP, 4 H, ER, BB, 6 K — The 20-year-old left-hander has been steady for the Squirrels thus far. Has 12-to-2 K/BB, 3.75 ERA through 12 innings.

Blue Jays RHP Aaron Sanchez, Double-A New Hampshire: 6 IP, 4 H, 2 BB, 6 K — Sanchez has flashed the big stuff that’s made him a top prospect for the Fisher Cats, striking out 18 in 19 2/3 innings. Command has been shakier, though, evidenced by 10 walks through four starts.

Cubs 3B Kris Bryant, Double-A Tennessee: 2-for-4, HR, RBI, R — Fourth homer of the season for last year’s first-round pick. Slashing .286/.455/.643 with 10 walks and 14 strikeouts in 14 games.

Marlins RHP Jose Urena, Double-A Jacksonville: 6 IP, 4 H, 2 BB, 5 K — First Double-A win for Urena, who struggled mightily through his first two starts. Friday’s outing slimmed his ER to 6.28, improved his K/BB to 8-to-9 through 14 1/3 innings.

Rays LHP Grayson Garvin, Double-A Montgomery: 3 IP, 4 H, 6 K — The 24-year-old has been fantastic through three starts while returning from Tommy John surgery. He’s been limited to three innings per outing, so it’s yet to be how he’ll perform when stretched out, but he boasts a 13-to-2 K/BB through nine innings with a 1.00 ERA thus far. Positive signs for the Vanderbilt product.

Blue Jays LHP Daniel Norris, Class A Advanced Dunedin: 4 IP, H, 2 BB, 6 K — Fantastic start to the season for the 20-year-old, who has a 0.60 ERA, 17-to-3 K/BB over 15 frames with a .204 average against.

Orioles RHP Branden Kline, Class A Advanced Frederick: 7 IP, 4 H, ER, BB, 4 K, HR — Quality outing for the 22-year-old Frederick native who has a 3.27 ERA in four starts. 17-to-5 K/BB through 22 innings.

Mets OF Brandon Nimmo, Class A Advanced St. Lucie: 4-for-5, 3B, 3 R, 2 RBI, BB — The Wyoming native was supposed to be slow to develop, considering his limited high school exposure to elite competition. The breakout may be happening. Nimmo is off to a spectacular start in the Florida State League. The left-handed hitter is slashing .407/.507/.542 with 12 walks in 15 games. Seven of his past 10 contests have been multi-hit efforts.

Phillies OF Dylan Cozens, Class A Lakewood: 3-for-5, HR, 2B, 3 RBI, 3 R, SB — Cozens has put together a few monster games with the BlueClaws, but has generally struggled to put balls in play with 18 strikeouts in 14 games. Cozens, CF Carlos Tocci and SS J.P. Crawford have made for a dynamic top of the order for Lakewood, though. Fun team to watch.

Reds RHP Nick Travieso, Class A Dayton: 6 IP, 5 H, BB, 3 K — Travieso’s been getting a lot of weak contact out of Midwest League hitters so far. Just 12 strikeouts in 17 innings, but a 1.63 GO/AO has helped him compile a 1.59 ERA through three starts.

Rangers LHP Yohander Mendez, Class A Hickory: 6 IP, 2 H, 10 K — Monster start for the 6-foot-4 19-year-old. The Venezuelan has shown sharp control and can spin a sharp slider, helping him put together a 16-to-1 K/BB through 15 1/3 innings and a 1.17 ERA.
