Other prospect performances of note:

San Francisco RHP Clayton Blackburn, Double-A Richmond: 5 IP, 5 H, 1 ER, 3 K — Solid showing from the 21-year-old in his Double-A debut.

Texas RHP Luke Jackson, Double-A Frisco: 5 IP, 2 H, 1 BB, 3 K — Impressive five scoreless innings for Texas’ №8 prospect, who now has a 0.56 ERA over seven Double-A appearances.

Miami LHP Jarlin Garcia, Class A Greensboro: 5 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 1 BB, 7 K — Stellar full-season debut for the 21-year-old Dominican. Marlins love his upside. Good start for breakout candidate.

Baltimore RHP Hunter Harvey, Class A Delmarva: 6 IP, 4 H, 5 K — Harvey’s been working diligently on his changeup this spring. If that pitch comes along, the 2013 first-rounder could move quick for a high school pick.

Chicago (AL) OF Courtney Hawkins, Class A Advanced Winston-Salem: 2-for-3, HR, BB 2 RBI, R — 2012 first-round pick hitting .429 thus far in repeat of Carolina League.

Cleveland RHP Trevor Bauer, Triple-A Columbus: 6 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, 9 K

Boston 2B Mookie Betts, Double-A Portland: 3-for-5, 2 2B — Betts is hitting .778 so far this season.

San Diego 2B Josh VanMeter, Class A Fort Wayne: 3-for-4, 2 2B, 2 R, RBI — The 19-year-old 2013 fifth-rounder is hitting .429 thus far.

Seattle 3B D.J. Peterson, Class A Advanced High Desert: 2-for-4, HR, 2 RBI, R, 2 K

San Diego OF Hunter Renfroe, Class A Advanced Lake Elsinore: 2-for-4, HR, 2B, BB, 3 RBI, 1 R

Colorado OF Kyle Parker, Triple-A Colorado Springs: 3-for-4, HR, BB, 2 RBI, 2 R
