Other top prospect performances:

Dodgers OF Joc Pederson, Triple-A Albuquerque: 2-for-4, HR, 4 RBI, 3 R, 2 BB, 2 K, SB — Pederson now has 32 homers and 29 stolen bases on the season, putting him a swipe away from the first 30/30 season in the Pacific Coast League in 80 years, when Frank Demaree reached the milestone in 186 games in 1934. Pederson’s clubbed six homers in his past 10 games and is slashing .301/.432/.586 for the season.

[milbvideo id=”35591337" width=”480" height=”270" /]

Indians SS Francisco Lindor, Triple-A Columbus: 4-for-5, 3 R — The slick-fielding 20-year-old has been heating up with the bat after a bit of a slump in Triple-A. He’s hitting .341 over his past 10 games, raising his International League line to .264/.295/.352 in 29 games.

[milbvideo id=”35590315" width=”480" height=”270" /]

Marlins C/2B Austin Barnes, Double-A Jacksonville: 3-for-5, 2B, 2 HR, 4 R, 3 RBI, BB — Barnes has been outstanding in the second half of the season with the Suns, tapping into power he’d never really showcased before. The 24-year-old has a .308/.421/.526 line with 10 homers in his past 58 games, and his 11 homers this season are one shy of a career high set at hitter-friendly Greensboro in 2012.

[milbvideo id=”35596375" width=”480" height=”270" /]

Giants RHP Clayton Blackburn, Double-A Richmond: 7 IP, 6 H, 2 BB, 9 K — The 21-year-old is closing out the season strong, posting consecutive outings without an earned run and managing a 2.06 ERA in his past 10 outings. He has 20 strikeouts in his last 15 innings against just two walks.

Marlins RHP Jose Urena, Double-A Jacksonville: 7 IP, 4 H, ER, 4 K — Urena’s been outstanding of late with the Suns. He’s allowed one or fewer earned runs in six of his past seven outings and has a 2.06 ERA in his last 10 appearances. In August, he as a 1.80 ERA over four starts.

Dodgers RHP Chris Anderson, Class A Advanced Rancho Cucamonga: 7 IP, 6 H, ER, BB, 11 K — Anderson has racked up 21 strikeouts over 14 innings in his past two starts against just two walks. The 2013 first-rounder has been a strikeout machine throughout the season, posting a 9.6 K/9 in 26 Cal League appearances. The 22-yaer-old has cut down on the walks of late, walking just five batters in his last 31 innings (1.5 BB/9) after walking 5.2 batters per nine innings in his first 21 outings.

Padres SS Trea Turner, Class A Fort Wayne: 3-for-5, HR, 2 RBI, 2 R, K — Turner’s numbers with the TinCaps remain somewhat absurd. He’s cooled off to where his average has finally dipped below .400, but he’s still sporting a .395/.462/.579 line in 36 games, including 10 steals in 13 tries.
