Cubs 3B Kris Bryant, Triple-A Iowa: 2-for-4, HR, 2 RBI, R, K — Bryant and teammate Javier Baez both went deep for the second consecutive game. Bryant now has 33 homers for the season, including 11 in 26 Triple-A games. The 22-year-old has a .718 slugging percentage split between Double-A and Triple-A.

Indians 2B Jose Ramirez, Triple-A Columbus: 3-for-5, 2 2B, 3B, 2 R, RBI — The switch-hitting 21-year-old has been excellent with the Clippers, reaching base at a .356 clip with a .300 average and a career-high five homers. Power won’t be a big part of Ramirez’s game, but if he maxes out, he could profile well in a lead-off roll. If he falls short of his ceiling, the floor is that of a down-the-order middle infielder or a very solid utility type.

Tigers 2B Devon Travis, Double-A Erie: 3-for-5, HR, RBI, R — The 23-year-old has a short, quick stroke and packs a little punch in his 5-foot-9 frame. The homer was his fifth this year and the outing drove his triple slash up to .291/.342/.440.

Mariners 3B/1B/OF Patrick Kivlehan, Double-A Jackson: 3-for-4, HR, 2B, 2 R, RBI, K — The 24-year-old has had a breakout season with the bat, slashing .295/.361/.515 between the Cal and Southern Leagues. He’s also probably played his way off third base with an .876 fielding percentage. Seattle’s shuffled him to first base and left field of late. His bat would obviously be more valuable at third, but should still be worth a big league roster spot from a corner, although perhaps in more of a platoon/bench role.

White Sox RHP Tyler Danish, Class A Advanced Winston-Salem: 6 IP, 6 H, 2 R, ER, HR, 6 K — The 19-year-old scuffled in his first couple starts with the Dash mostly from picking around the strike zone too much. He’s since regained his confidence and filled up the strike zone to positive results, allowing one or fewer earned runs in four straight outings with 19 strikeouts and four walks over 21 2/3 innings.

A’s 1B Matt Olson, Class A Advanced Stockton: 3-for-5, HR, 2 RBI, 2 R, K — That’s now 28 longballs for Olson in the Cal League. The left-handed hitter has promising power, so the home runs aren’t just a Cal League mirage. He also has an excellent plate approach, profiling well in the Moneyball-era mold offensively as an OBP/power guy. Olson also draws positive reviews for his glovework at first

Padres SS Trea Turner, Class A Fort Wayne: 3-for-4, 2B, 2 RBI, 2 R, BB, K, SB — Turner’s game is built around his elite speed, and he’s already swiped three bases in five Midwest League games. After a brief adjustment to swinging with wood, Turner’s found his stroke, finishing strong with Class A Short Season Eugene before jumping up to the TinCaps, where he’s gone 10-for-22 thus far.

Orioles RHP Hunter Harvey, Class A Delmarva: 5 IP, 2 H, ER, 8 K — Harvey’s been a bit up and down of late, but he’s at least been racking up the strikeouts with 24 of them in his past four starts (22 1/3 innings). Overall, Harvey has a 2.94 ERA and is striking out 11 batters per inning during a promising first full pro season.

Pirates SS JaCoby Jones, Class A West Virginia: 2-for-5, HR, 2B, 2 RBI, 2 R, K, SB — The 22-year-old has eight homers in 17 July games, helping put together a 1.284 OPS and this after a disappointing June in which Jones struck out 18 times without drawing a walk in 15 games. If he keeps up his recent pace, the LSU product may not be long for the South Atlantic League, and a late-season bump to Bradenton isn’t out of the question.

Rangers C/INF Jose Trevino, Class A Short Season Spokane: 3-for-5, HR, 2B, 3 RBI, 2 R, K — His position is somewhat TBD, but Trevino has quickly found his stride offensively. The 2014 sixth-round pick has a knack for hard contact with some power potential that would play best behind the plate. The profile might be a little stretched if he ends up at third, and second base could be a landing spot, as well.

Dodgers 1B Cody Bellinger, Rookie-level Ogden: 3-for-4, HR, 2 2B, 3 R, RBI, K — The 2012 fourth-rounder separated his shoulder two games into the season and just returned Friday night, but at least returned with a bang. The homer is his second as a pro. The left-hander was among the youngest high schoolers in his Draft class and has plenty of room to fill out his 6-foot-4, 180-pound frame.
