Red Sox 3B Garin Cecchini, Triple-A Pawtucket: 3-for-5, HR, 2 R, RBI — The 24-year-old is back in Triple-A after a very brief stint in the Majors and has slumped a bit since returning, hitting just .194 in his past 10 games even including Tuesday’s effort.

Rays RHP Alex Colome, Triple-A Durham: 7 IP, 6 H, ER, 5 K — Colome’s been excellent since returning to Triple-A after a steroids suspension and a brief look in the Majors. The 25-year-old has a 0.44 ERA with 21 strikeouts and four walks in 20 2/3 innings.
Red Sox LHP Brian Johnson, Double-A Portland: 6 IP, 4 H, ER, BB, 6 K — The 23-year-old has been excellent since an early promotion to the Eastern League, posting a 1.96 ERA in seven starts. In 67 innings this season, Johnson has 68 strikeouts and 19 walks.
Astros CF Brett Phillips, Class A Quad Cities: 4-for-5, 3B, 3 R, SB — Phillips just turned 20 at the end of May and has been excellent with the Bandits this season, slashing .308/.368/.484. Phillips was a sixth-round pick in the 2012 Draft and hadn’t done much prior to this season, but he’s already racked up 10 triples and 23 extra-base hits this season.
