White Sox 3B Matt Davidson, Triple-A Charlotte: 2-for-4, HR, 2 RBI, R — It’s been a season to forget for Davidson, although he now has four homers in his past 10 and 11 long balls for the season. Otherwise, it’s been an ugly campaign, as the 23-year-old has struck out 85 times in 62 games while batting just .186.

Tigers OF Steven Moya, Double-A Erie: 3-for-5, HR, 2 R, 2 RBI, K — Moya’s 14th homer of the season was a long one and earned the SeaWolves a walk-off win Monday night.

Marlins RHP Jorge Lopez, Class A Advanced Brevard County: 7 IP, 5 H, 6 K — Lopez has kept opponents to one earned run combined over his past three starts. The 21-year-old has a 2.69 ERA in the Florida State League with an impressive 1.55 groundout-to-flyout ratio.

Blue Jays SS Franklin Barreto, Class A Short Season Vancouver: 4-for-6, 2B, RBI, R, BB, 2 SB — Impressive performance for one of Toronto’s most talented Minor Leaguers. Barreto is hitting .611 through four Northwest League games including a pair of four-hit contests.
