Cubs 3B Kris Bryant, Triple-A Iowa: 1-for-2, HR, RBI, R, 2 BB — Bryant has four hits in five Pacific Coast League games, and all of them are homers. The walks were his first two at the level. The San Diego product now has 26 round-trippers on the season, trailing only Texas’ Joey Gallo for the Minor League lead.

Astros OF Domingo Santana, Triple-A Oklahoma City: 2-for-4, HR, 2B, R, RBI, BB, 2 K — The log ball was Santana’s 12th this year, an impressive opposite-field shot on a night when the RedHawks hit five long balls.

Giants LHP Ty Blach, Double-A Richmond: 6 IP, 8 H, ER, BB, 9 K — The 23-year-old has allowed one earned run in each of his past three starts and has a 2.69 ERA in 14 outings this season. His peripheral numbers aren’t dominant, but Blach knows how to pitch and has a deep enough arsenal to make it as a starter in the Majors. Yankees C Peter O’Brien, Double-A Trenton: 2-for-4, 2 HR, 3 RBI, 2 R — O’Brien is third in the Minors with 25 long balls this season, trailing only Gallo and Bryant. The backstop may not be a catcher for long, but the power should get him a big league gig if he can keep his average high enough (something he hasn’t done with a .228 mark in Double-A).

Braves 2B Jose Peraza, Double-A Mississippi: 3-for-5, HR, 3 R, 2 RBI — Power doesn’t figure to be a big part of Peraza’s game, and the homer was just his second of the season. That said, the infielder can do just about everything else. He’s gone 12-for-23 through his first five Southern League contests.

Yankees RHP Rafael De Paula, Class A Advanced Tampa: 5 2/3 IP, 5 H, BB, 7 K — His last time out, De Paula got lit up for six runs in one inning by Daytona. He got revenge Monday, slimming his ERA to 5.31.

A’s INF Renato Nunez, Class A Advanced Stockton: 4-for-5, HR, 3 2B, 4 RBI, 2 R — Nunez has three homers in five games and six doubles in his past nine. The 20-year-old has been raking in June, batting .361 with a 1.130 OPS.

Dodgers SS Corey Seager, Class A Advanced Rancho Cucamonga: 4-for-6, 2B, 3 R — Just another night for one of the California League’s top hitters. Seager is batting .353 with 13 homers, including an impressive .371 average on the road.

Mariners 3B D.J. Peterson, Class A Advance High Desert (for now): 1-for-4, HR, 2 RBI, 2 R, K — Peterson clubbed his 18th homer and was promptly pulled from the game with the news that he’s headed to Double-A Jackson. The 22-year-old rebounded from a lackluster April to finish with a .326 average and .997 OPS in 65 games with the Mavericks. He may not be a third baseman long term, but Peterson can rake, popping six homers in his final 10 games in the Cal League.
