MileVerse is a mileage integration payment platform, that applies blockchain technology to build an integrated ecosystem, that benefits everyone, ranging from corporations and customers up to affiliated stores.

Hi there! Mileverse has recently participated in the AMA session with Fire Ant, where a lot of meaningful and deep questions regarding the Mileverse, Mileage Market, DApps were asked. The CEO of the Mileverse, William Jung has answered all the questions in a proper way, thereby providing essential insights to the community members.

Mileverse Introduction

MileVerse is a combination of two words “Mileage” and “Universe”, which implies the creation of a new ecosystem in the mileage market. As much as the growing marketplace, we use a lot of companies and services in our daily lives to get a variety of mileage points, and the reality is that we don’t know how much mileage we have and where we can use it.

1st Segment of the AMA

Q1. How far are you thinking about consolidating and paying for mileage?

A: First of all, we are currently developing mileage links with Book & Life, and we are also in the final stage of coordination for a contract with a local credit card company.

Actually, the core of the mileage is the airline business, as you know, and our goal is to consolidate airline mileages, which is the ultimate in mileage integration vision.

This is the next payment section. In fact, our dream is to make all merchants payable in their daily lives, but it is thought to be difficult within a short span of time. Therefore, the first target is convenience stores, coffee shops, movie theaters, and bakeries that youngsters (20-40) usually visit.

To this end, our partners are operating in various franchises, and it may be too early to tell you, but we are currently talking about various things with famous household goods companies. I’ll try to give you some news soon.

Q2. I think ‘security in the cryptocurrency market is directly related to investor confidence that cannot be overemphasized. Has Mileverse ever performed a security test?

A: To be honest with you, we always consider this part as much as possible, so we went over this issue a lot last year. We have already completed two security audits last year, Hatch Labs (Korea) and Slow Mist (China). We are still communicating with several domestic companies related to technology security. Yet, still, I can promise you that security will never be sloppy in Mileverse.

Q3: I currently installed and using the Mileverse. I don’t think there are many giftcoins stores yet, when can we anticipate more various products?

A: Currently, SK M&Service and Korea Pay Service’s Gifticon products, which are considered to be the top products in Korea are already available for usage. Actually, it’s already linked, so you can always add Gifticon products. However, the sale of Gifticon can be seen as a stepping stone for merchant payment.

Since we want to support the service where the existing company focused on mileage swaps, it would be better if you think that we are focusing more on the payment rather than adding gift-con products.

As I mentioned above, we are currently discussing with a household goods company and a coffee shop brand is scheduled to have a meeting soon. Soon, I will visit you by paying for the franchise, not by Giftcoins.

Q4. Tell us about the origination of the name “Mileverse”

It reminds me of the time when I named my brand after the company was established…A year and a half ago. The head of marketing on our team is called MileVerse — Mileage + Universe. When we came up with the idea, we said, “When the company goes well and we go public, when we airdrop.
Let’s promote with the village bus token image. So, soon, when planning events, uh, event, I’m going to plan it in the shape of a token that I used to pay on the bus. No wonder you understand my story, but you’re at least in your 40s.…haha

Q5. Currently, Mileverse uses the barcode payment method. However, the offline payment system is gradually changing to the payment method using NFC and QR codes. Don’t you have any plans to introduce this payment method at Mileverse?

A: It’s about paying for the merchant. In fact, most of the franchise brands that we target first are POS machines. When a merchant uses Mileverse, the contents are displayed on the POS machine. Of course, as mentioned above, if you’re going to use it in all franchises, of course.

We are aware that NFC and QR code methods will be required. In particular, NFC has already discussed with its partner company, and it is planning to prepare this part after the franchise is confirmed. Thank you for the great question.

Real-time Questions

Q: I have a question. Are you thinking about collaborating with the carrier? I can’t ignore the carrier’s point.

A: Thank you for your question. In fact, if the credit card company that is currently under discussion is contracted, the next step is the carrier. Of course, it’s not an easy path, but I’ll do my best.

Q. I’m sure you’re all curious, but I’m curious about the things that are going well and the things that are difficult to proceed on the road map of Milvus.

A: Thank you for your question. Currently, the part that is going well is being sold sequentially according to the road map. I think it’s a business that has mileage and a merchant that can be used. Fortunately, it’s going well thanks to our partners. The difficulty in proceeding is that we appreciate the criticism and advice, but there are many difficulties in generating unconfirmed rumors and unconditional slander.
