Q1. Introduce MiL.k and Milk Coin (MLK)?

MiL.k is a blockchain-based loyalty integration platform officially launched in April 2020. On MiL.k, users can integrate reward points from different service companies, and exchange reward points and Milk Coin (MLK) with discounts. Milk Coin (MLK) is the main currency on MiL.k which is already listed on Gate.io, Huobi Global, Kucoin, Upbit (Indonesia/ Korea), Bithumb and Coinone. And now, Milk Coin (MLK) can be traded at INDODAX with the MLK/ IDR pair.

Currently, MiL.k can be downloaded both on Google Play and App Store and the updated version supporting Bahasa will be open on 20th July. Let me introduce some main features of MiL.k with a captured screen.

1. Reward trading
When you open the MiL.k, you will see the reward trading section at first. You can see the list of partners and by clicking each partner’s tab, you can check your reward points balance and the current discount rate for the point conversion.

2. Wallet
On the wallet tab, you can check your Milk Coin (MLK) balance and how much that is in fiat in real time. In addition, you can send and receive Milk Coin (MLK) using the QR code or the address of your wallet.

3. Daily check
On the Wallet tab, you can see the small tab which says, ‘Attendance check’. Through this tab, you can get 0.05MLK per day by clicking a little drop icon for daily check. And if you attend for a full 1 month, you will get additional 1MLK for extra rewards.

Q2. What are the benefits of using MiL.k for customers?

MiL.k is helping you not to waste reward points and rather, giving you more benefits in daily life.

Whenever you earn reward points by using service or purchasing goods, you may not be able to use reward points due to the short expiry date or forgetting the existence, etc.

In that case, you can open the MiL.k app, exchange reward points into a single asset, Milk Coin (MLK). And then with Milk Coin (MLK), you can exchange for reward points if you have a plan to redeem it or cash out at exchanges like INDODAX.

In addition to rewards, you can also enjoy various marketing activities with exclusive benefits from MiL.k’s partners.

Q3. Sounds great! Then can you please introduce some representative marketing activity that you did with Korean partners?

Sure, let me show you some examples with images.

: Yanolja is our first partner who is the №1 online traveling agency in Korea. We did a daily roulette event where users will get a chance to roll the roulette once per day and earn free Milk Coin as rewards. Thanks to this event, a lot of users flew into both MiL.k and Yanolja service and earned benefits every day.

: Another successful event was operated with CU, the №1 convenience store in Korea. We made a MiL.k sandwich which has hidden unique code on the package and once users insert this unique code on MiL.k app, they earn free Milk Coins (MLK). This event was really hot in Korea and sold out nationwide with a 20% sales increase of sandwiches at CU.

Like what we did in Korea, MiL.k team is preparing various co-marketing activities with GetPlus and potential local partners. Please stay tuned for our upcoming plan in Indonesia!

Q4. Can you please introduce what is the GetPlus?

GetPlus is a free membership coalition loyalty program in Indonesia. Our members earn reward points from their everyday shopping from our wide range of online and offline retailer partners across all categories. Members can earn up to 10% reward points on each transaction.

As members are earning points frequently, they will be able to make a redemption soon, from a wide selection of rewards vouchers, services and products from hundreds of redemption partners.

Q5. Amazing. then Adrian, can you please explain upcoming plan with MiL.k?

We will open the point exchange service with MiL.k on 20th July which means you can exchange Milk Coin and GetPlus points on MiL.k app.

Various following marketing events are developing. To give you some hints, you can join the launching event with MiL.k and one of the most popular service companies in Indonesia soon.

With MiL.k, we will provide loyalty services with fun activities connecting not only between GetPlus and MiL.k but also, Indonesia and Korea.

Align with that, K-culture could be one of the examples that our collaboration can bring to Indonesia. There are a lot of K-pop or K-food lovers in Indonesia who would like to know more and experience K cultures. MiL.k can bring on- trend K-culture to GetPlus, and GetPlus will localize it and connect to Indonesian users in various ways.

Q6. It seems like partnership is important for MiL.k. Justin, what is the current partnership status in Korea and what is the plan to expand it in Indonesia?

How MiL.k earned 1.4 million users and rapidly grew its service in a short period was enabled with MiL.k’s partners. Especially the first partner, Yanolja (№1 online traveling agency with 10 million users in Korea) gave strong impression to the market for MiL.k to continuously built strategic partnership with representative services as following;

  • airasia (№1 ASEAN airline with 51 million users)
  • OK CashBag (Loyalty integration platform of second largest group in Korea, SK Group)
  • Lotte L.Point (Loyalty integration platform of retail giant group, Lotte Group)
  • Shinsegae Duty Free (Korea’s representative duty-free brand of retail giant, Shinsegae Group)
  • CU (№1 convenience store), INTERPARK (№1 ticketing and e-commerce), MEGABOX (Multiplex), Jinair (LCC brand of Korean air), Daily Hotel (Premium online traveling agency), etc.

Thankfully, MiL.k found the best partner, GetPlus in Indonesia. We are planning to make a strong alliance with representative local service partners as we did in Korea. In addition, with 1.4 million users base, MiL.k is a newly developing advertisement platform model in Korea now. By recruiting more global users through the localization plan, MiL.k will upgrade to the global advertisement platform which represents one of the successful use cases of blockchain technology in Southeast Asia.
