A filtered perception of human reality

What if the world is a simulated reality,
What if there exists no causality.

Imagine a world starting from scratch,
Observe the changes in the subsequent batch.

For long we have been just hunters and gatherers,
And now that we are sophisticated fathomers.

How did we come this far,
Would you credit nature for this haphazard?

But is nature really as it seems,
Just a program of random schemes?

If that is really how things work,
Think again about the scenarios getting worse.

Think about why do pandemics occur,
And all sorts of losses that humans incur.

Think of what brings peace and war,
And why can’t you forget that childhood scar?

Think of your emotions & what makes you conscious,
And why that first love made you nervous!

Think of those genes that make someone more capable,
Or if you could be nurtured enough to be equally able.

So even if we are simulated or the only conscious beings,
Chaos would still be there and would keep on increasing.

As we don’t have control of this chaotic reality,
It’s better to keep working with all our ability.
