End of Times

We’re at our end of times

Shining into the sunset

Admiring the moments when the sky turns all shades

A beautiful palette of a mixed rainbow

We’ve walked through the tunnel

Watching the light as we reach the end

Looking through the prism glass

As the colors play beautifully

We’re at the end of the path

Looking at the beauty afforded to us

Long enough to stretch the death out

Enough time to admire the view

We’re at the end of our capacity

Ignoring things we cannot experience firsthand

Leaving thoughts behind as soon as they come

Avoiding conscious thoughts about life as of today

As of today.

As of today, we’re at the end of our apathy.

As of today, we must stand up.

As of today, we move towards awareness. We move towards action.

We’re at the end of our inaction

Talking about the discomfort ready to happen

Making space for the discomfort to make our beauty last longer

We’re at the end of a legacy.

The earth will survive without us.
