Resurrection 3.0

This river is ebbing

Waving byes to the shore

Talia’s got enough lobsters for dinner

And home pulls us with cords invisible.

The dark gives her mating call.

Soft… Bold… Insistent

Who dares ignore?

Off we head into the womb of the night

Willing to be born again.

Talia speaks:

To be born is to die

On the days of high winds

Assured the end has begun

To live is to fade slowly

Into the dark

Fleeing from yourself

To die is to grasp

At hope so translucent

And to wake is to know it’ll

All happen again

Resurrection is now

Resurrection is yours

Embrace it
