The Oldies

There’s something to be said about a piece of poetry that has aged like fine wine. Poems even though written long ago still reflects the struggle, hope, and the pursuit of happiness most Millennials can still relate to today.

Poems that shake us to our core, transversing through time and the human experience. These beautiful Oldies encapsulate the very reason why writers write — a desire to touch someone long after they are no longer present. Poems like these inspire or at the very least, serves as a companion for the times when we doubt life. It’s because of this, that we have decided to feature ‘The Oldies.’

The aim of this publication however remains the same — to feature poetry that reflects the thoughts and experiences of millennials. We just think supping with the elders wouldn’t hurt.
