Happy Friday! MAP’s Five on Friday kicks off the weekend by sharing five things we loved this week. Join in with us by sharing five things you’re loving in the comments below!

{{ №1: Traveling }}

MAP is traveling to Omaha, Nebraska on Thursday October 25th, and we want you to join us! RSVP to save your place at our reception, “Cocktails and Conversation”, with Future Caucus co-chairs State Senators Adam Morfeld (D-District 46) and Brett Lindstrom (R-District 18).

{{ №2: Congratulating }}

We’re congratulating the Aspen Institute-Rodel Fellowship Class of 2018! These fellowships are awarded to young politicians who engage in “thoughtful and civil bipartisan dialogue.” Both of our Ohio Future Caucus co-chairs, Rep. Sarah LaTourette and Sen. Frank LaRose, are part of this year’s 24 fellow class. Nebraska’s Future Caucus co-chair, Senator Adam Morfeld, is also on the list.

{{ №3: Riding }}

Good news for voters without transportation to the polls: Uber and Lyft will provide free rides to polling sites in an effort to increase access to voting. Ride your way to the November 6 midterm election!

{{ №4: Laughing }}

We’re laughing at a cat dressed in a Cookie Monster costume. This cute cat is the subject of a pajama party invite, mistakenly sent by the U.S. Embassy in Australia during a newsletter test run.

P.S. Since coming across this cat photo, we discovered Cookie Monster’s Twitter profile and are loving it!

{{ №5: Listening }}

It’s getting spooky! That means Halloween is less than two weeks away, and we’re listening to scary audiobooks. Get ready for the scary season by listening to the best audiobooks according to Insider.
