Happy Tuesday! Today’s special edition of Five on Friday is… on Tuesday. We’re sharing five things we loved last week. Join in with us by sharing five things you’re loving in the comments below!

{{ №1: Giving }}

On Thursday, we joined Food & Friends to give back to the community. We know that community matters and we were grateful to do our small part in giving back. We valued this team exercise: together, we helped package food for hundreds of DC residents with life challenging illnesses.

{{ №2: Innovating }}

Next Generation Nebraska, the only bipartisan caucus for young legislators in Nebraska, is innovating on education policy. Senators Brett Lindstrom and Adam Morfeld were profiled by The 74 for stories on how tech and the economy influences educational trends. The 74 is a nonprofit dedicated to better education for 74 million children.

{{ №3: Unifying }}

Politicians across the aisle came together to remember the life and legacy of George H.W. Bush, who passed away last Friday. Bush’s funeral was held at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C., and was attended by President Trump and former Presidents Obama, Bush, Clinton, and Carter. . On Wednesday, people across the country honored this display of unity and shared in a moment of reflection.

{{ №4: Replaying }}

Last month MAP’s Steven Olikara and Wisconsin Future Caucus co-chairs Reps. Adam Neylon and Amanda Stuck aired on UpFront with Mike Gousha! We’re replaying the conversation around how Millennials are changing the political landscape.

{{ №5: Anticipating}}

We’re anticipating #MAPStatesOfDemocracy this week on Wednesday, December 12th. This is an event MAP will host in partnership with Quorum and the Brennan Center for Justice.

We will release a year-end report about our Democracy Reform Task Force, legislators who work to hold government accountable.
