The Joint Investigation Team probing the murder of Mashal Khan, a university student who was murdered by his fellow students over charges of blasphemy in April, has claimed that the murder was pre-planned by a group of students affiliated with the Pashtun Students Federation (PSF) along with a university employee.

The team did not find any evidence of blasphemy against Mashal.
