Technology is becoming more of an integral part in the world of business. Some companies do a better job embracing technology than others but trends show that all businesses will be highly technical in the future. This is mostly due to the rising number of Millennials taking over the business world.

Why Millennials Love Technology

Millennials grew up with easy access to technology. They are the first generation to use advanced forms of tech. Due to this fact, it makes perfect sense that they expect the use of technology in their jobs.

As Chip Espinoza and Mick Ukleja point out in their book, Managing the Millennials, “Millennials are more alike around the world than any generation that has proceeded them” (2016). This means pretty much every future worker is going to expect to use advanced technology because they all think similarly. Companies realize that and are incorporating technology more and more as time goes on. They are buying the latest financial and accounting programs to increase productivity. They are also purchasing the latest equipment to use such as the latest computers and company-issued smartphones.
