We’ve included links (for easy sharing), the copy for the posts (in case you’ve already used up all your creative juices today), the hashtags (for optimal millennial reach) and the MILLIE logos and branding information (in case you want to feature us on your front page or something).

Nov. 22, Wednesday — A Thanksgiving-Eve Poem

https://www.facebook.com/gomillie/posts/746936138828761:0

Post Copy: It was the day before Thanksgiving,
And throughout all the bases,
Commissary lines were long,
With hungry, stressed out faces.

Time was running out, you see,
To get everything they need,
To prepare for the day when,
20 or more they’d have to feed.

But eventually the lines did move,
And shoppers made it out alive,
Home they went with their groceries,
And into the kitchen did they dive.

With a flurry and a clatter,
The pots and pans did come out,
Preparation for turkey day,
Was in full swing, no doubt.

One recipe after another,
Green beans, potatoes and pie,
The fridge began to fill up,
As fast as the cook’s fingers could fly.

When all the prep was done,
There was a moment for a break,
And that’s when they remembered,
What was actually at stake.

While the meal is important,
And good food means a lot,
Thanksgiving is a day,
To slow down and take stock.

It’s a time to hug loved ones,
Send our hearts to those not present,
To give selflessly and generously,
During such a joyous event.

It’s a chance to come together,
To give thanks and be glad,
To be present in the moment,
To cheer up those who are sad.

So with joy in their hearts,
And no more dishes to create,
The shoppers went to bed happy,
Knowing the next day would be great.
