Louie Hwang, the founder and CEO of Millim:X, is the author of ‘My First NFT Investment Class’, a blockchain related book, which will be published in bookstores in May. Louie has a distinctive career track record as an underground hip-hop musician in the early 2000s, then bypassing his career toward large corporations and VCs. Louie said, “The current music revenue structure where the middlemen take 80~90% of the music revenue, is too unfair for artists. I thought that with the WEB3 method, we could implement a profit structure that would satisfy artists.”

The CEO added, “I started Milim X project by combining these three factors: 7 years of working experience at a leading VC in Korea, the know-how of starting and operating my own block chain projects for the past 5 years, and my personal experiences of the music market and difficulties as a musician.” Prior to Millim:X, he founded and operated a company called dAppstore, a project to popularize blockchain, and was awarded the 2019 DPA (Decentralized People’s Award) Person of the Year for the blockchain game category hosted by Token Post in recognition of his contribution to the blockchain industry.
