Today’s prompt: #04 — “Smog”
The smoky ability was inspired by how infect poisons players. But how does toxic air differ from having a bodily disease?
One aspect is that smoke dissipates. Thus, the Smog counters eventually go away. But not instantly. Only one Smog in a collection goes away, so you definitely want to pile on the Smog.
Yes, this replaces your combat damage upon hit with Smog counters on the first hit. The payoff is how much more damage you’ll deal over time.
1 power = 1 damage over 1 turn
2 power = 3 damage over 2 turns
3 power = 6 damage over 3 turns
I imagine this in blue, black, a little bit of red, and colorless artifacts.
The name is totes a Pokémon reference.
