Can you tell me something about yourself?

R: I’m Carlos Baptista, I’m 28 years old. I am Angolan, graduated in industrial production engineering and commercial management in Brazil.

What was your career before Ingresso Prático was founded?

R: Before the Ingress Prático was founded, I worked at the Luanda oil refinery. I left the company to devote myself to my project.

Can you tell me a little more about Ingresso Pratico?

R: Ingresso Prático is the most complete platform for managing, distributing, and marketing tickets through the Internet, by telephone, and by the network of points of sale. We offer several innovative solutions of quality, based on a complete operational infrastructure that allows us to attend in an optimized way.

What’s your motivation in opening Ingresso Pratico?

R: I opened the Ingresso Prático because of a difficulty I had in buying a tickets.

Who is/are part of building/founding it?

R: I am the only founder of the company.

What was technically the most challenging part of starting this business?

R: The most challenging part was people believing that it is a project that much convenience. And that site is safe because people still think that buying over the internet is theft.

How did you get the funding? Is it just from your funds? or you have partners?

R: I founded the company with all my background. However, I recently got an investment to launch the new site that will allow customers to make the payment directly on the site. Let’s work with virtual wallet.

So far, how was your business doing?

R: Business is fine, we are in the process of change. We enter the market, we understand how the market works, we change many things, and the main change is our website.

Can you tell me a little bit about your products/services?

R: Ticket Production

Physical ticket is one of the most important memories of an event. Personalization and security are of particular relevance. Through our most distinguished designers we have created several layouts, depending on the concept and image of each event. Our tickets are the safest in the market, made of filigree paper and with various security items such as: numismatic background, microlinhas in fluorescent ink, colored fibers, bar code holographic stamp and watermark.

Access Control System

In the process of security and access control, we use the highest technology that verifies the veracity of the tickets through the bar code, in addition to easily integrate the entire system with a ticketing team at the venue. The system ensures the management of terminals, entrance doors, ticket typologies, allowing easy control of situations of loss and fraud. In addition, it provides all the information recorded, being possible to have the notion of the number of people that are in the event.

What is the biggest project you have right now?

R: The biggest project is the new website, and our card we are going to launch, which will allow customers to have discounts, priority in events, and thousands of other advantages.

How do you handle stress like during the times that you need to meet deadlines, some unexpected problems, technical issues etc. ?

R: I listen to music, watch TV and sleep, these things help me to relax

What are your plans in the future? Do you vision to go worldwide?

R: Yes, we have the vision to go in other countries, namely the PALOPs (Portuguese African Countries of Portuguese), already we have already probed Cabo Vede.

R: Convenience in one click

In one sentence, how would you market Ingresso Pratico?

R: The market is virgin, and we have everything to take the biggest share of the market

R: Stop yes, but never give up.
