The Best (And Easiest) Exercise You Can Do To Strengthen Your Core
And you can practically do it anywhere, and at anytime
As I’m entering my 40s, I can’t ignore what my body is telling me about itself, and recently, it’s been telling me that my core isn’t as strong as it should be.
Regardless of how much I’d like to think that I’m immune to pains and aches because I’m active, I know that my body will naturally age, and I will have to do more in order to keep it staying as healthy as it can be.
So, to address it, I started doing a simple exercise that doesn’t take more than 10 minutes in total and one that has really made a difference in strengthening my core.
It’s also something that can be done almost anywhere, anytime, and with very limited space.
This exercise is called, planking.
3 sets is all it takes
I decided to do a 30-day planking challenge at the start of August, just to see what it could do for my core.
Aside from a few missed days due to falling sick, I was able to do over 26 consecutive days of planking — which I use as a conclusion to my workouts.
