What Jung Taught Me About the Part of Myself That I Pretend Doesn’t Exist
From Masks And Fragile Ego To The Deeper Self
We think that we know who we are, like others, I used to believe in that too.
Most of my days, I walk around with a smile on my face that shows “I am fine”.
I play the role of a hardworking colleague, a calm person who has things under control, a man who can handle everything.
For a long time, I thought that was “really me”.
But in my core heart, I know something wasn’t right. There were parts of myself that I didn’t want anyone to see, and why should I? The parts that I didn’t want to admit.
That’s when I befriended 3 amazing people. Fyodor Dostoevsky, Friedrich Nietzsche, and Carl Jung.
Works of above 3 figures are helping me a lot in many ways, especially in learn how to navigate my life.
For now, I will talk about Carl Jung's psychology in this piece, and later on, about other friends.
