Habits are at the heart of the differences in accomplishment and quality of life of ultra-successful people and mediocre ones.

Habits are behavior patterns that have become automatic. They define the way we live on a day-to-day basis. Our habits ultimately determine how far we can go in life. Regardless of which area of our lives we’re interested in, the habits we’ve formed in that area will determine the results we experience.

Mediocre people develop and cultivate consistently poor and limiting habits that hold them back from success. Here are some of them.

They Lack Intent and Sense of Purpose

To be successful in life, we need to be intentional about who we want to become and what we intend to dedicate our lives to accomplishing.

‘Purpose’ gives us a sense of direction.

When you ask yourself: “What’s my life for?” “What am I in this world to do?” “What’s my purpose?” you’re essentially triggering a journey of self-discovery of who you are, what your strengths and abilities are, and how you express those abilities and use them to change your life.
