If you’re currently stuck at home in quarantine, due to the global Coronavirus pandemic, you’ve likely got a bit of extra time on your hands. After all, with lockdowns preventing many of us from going to work, things can get a little monotonous when you’re sitting on the sofa all day with nothing to do.

When you’re trapped in the four walls of your home, it’s only a matter of days before you feel a desire to do something productive that will keep you occupied.

Although language learning can be difficult, it can certainly help you to understand different cultures, make new friends, and keep your brain occupied throughout the lockdown.

So if you plan on learning a new language during the next few months, here are a few things to keep in mind as you adjust to your new indoor lifestyle.

Having A Conversation Is Easier Than You Think

When I was in High School, I found languages to be incredibly difficult. We were graded on the rules of grammar, instead of understanding the actual language. As you can imagine, I initially found learning a new language to be tedious.
