How to Keep Going—No Matter What
If you had a tough 2024—or lots of tough moments during the year—this article is for you.
Don’t get me wrong: I had my good moments—but I also had my challenging ones too. There were many times when I just didn't know what to do because it felt like nothing was working.
Nothing helped.
If anything, whatever I tried seemed to keep making things worse.
In those moments, what do you do?
How do you overcome it?
There are a few things I did that (I feel) contributed a lot. They may not be backed by tons of scientific studies or whatever, but they definitely helped me in the moment and I hope they help you too.
Let’s jump right in.
Learn How to Comfort Yourself
Let’s be real for a second:
Most people suck at comforting you.
You'll tell them what's going on and they'll say things like:
“Oh.”
Or they’ll say, “Well everyone feels like that sometimes.”
Uh, thanks?
Or they’ll turn the subject onto themselves and say, “Yeah, things have been hard for me too. Let me tell you what happened yesterday…”
