If you spend any amount of time in bookstores, you’ve definitely heard of Yuval Noah Harari. He’s the bestselling author of Sapiens, Homo Deus, and many others. It’s also worth mentioning that Yuval is a professor in the Department of History at the University of Jerusalem.

So, in this article, I’ll share several non-fiction books Yuval Noah Harari has recommended. All of them are fascinating and blew my mind. Hopefully, they’ll do the same for you, too.

The Escape Artist: The Man Who Broke Out Of Auschwitz by Jonathan Freedland

“A brilliant and heart-wrenching book, with universal and timely lessons about the power of information — and misinformation.” — Yuval Noah Harari

The Escape Artist is jaw-dropping, heartbreaking, and nail-biting (all at the same time). As the title suggests, it’s about a man named Rudolf Vrba who broke out of Auschwitz & warned the world of atrocities being committed by Nazis.

I highly recommend visiting your local bookstore (or library) in the near future and reading The Escape Artist. With crimes against humanity currently being committed…
