The following is an example of the ten-minute morning routines I produce for subscribers of The Micro Morning Meditations.

If you’d like to get more of these routines, you can find a free 5-day Stoic series here which includes the same format of audio contemplations, illustrations, and journaling prompts.

Your 3-Part Micro Morning Routine

1. 🧘 Morning Contemplation

Listen to the audio version of the morning contemplation here:

Good morning.

When you hear the word courage, what comes to mind?

It’s common to see it equated with traits like fearlessness, unshakeable confidence, and a comfortable inclination to push forward in difficult situations.

But if courage was the same thing as fearlessness it wouldn’t be a particularly admirable virtue to display. There would be no fear being overcome.

That’s because courage isn’t the absence of fear. It’s acting despite fear.
