The Geography
New Zealand has every geographic feature you can imagine. New Zealand has everything from rainforests and beaches to alpine mountains and glaciers. What makes this so unique is that these features are so close together. A one-hour drive can take you from the beach to a snow-topped mountain.
It’s not uncommon for adventurous Kiwis to plan a day out that starts with a sunrise surf, followed by a day of skiing and ends back at the beach. It’s all in a day here in the and of the Kiwi.
