Defining Self Efficacy and Self Confidence
Self-efficacy is defined as one’s belief in their ability to succeed in a specific situation or task. It is a key determinant of how we think, feel, and behave. Confidence, on the other hand, is defined as a feeling of assurance or certainty about something. Self-confidence is related to self-efficacy in that it is the overall belief that one can be successful across different domains and tasks.
