MindFlux is looking for writers who want to help build a community of driven people who want to make changes to improve their personal and professional lives — to level up — by transforming their mindset.

What We’re Looking For

  1. Our submission guidelines ask that your submitted story fit into at least one of the following categories: Mindset, Business, Leadership, and/or Lifestyle.
  2. Your article should have a purpose — provide a clear course of action for our readers that is useful and fulfilling. This can come in a variety of ways, such as tips the readers should follow, an inspirational narrative pertained to one of the categories, etc.
  3. Your drafted works should be fact-checked. If any claims are made, make sure that they are supported and reviewed thoroughly, with reliable external sources, prior to submission.

Writing Guidelines

First off, new to writing on Medium? Here is a comprehensive guide to formatting your drafts:

  1. Style. The aspired tone of this publication is simple and relaxed. We want our writers to publish work that is both assessable and engaging. We want your voice. We want your quirks. The more yourself you are, the more your readers will feel that and implement your work in their daily life. Your writing can make a difference that way. It is important to find balance in making informative calls to action, as well as making your writing approachable in any way you know how.
  2. Word Count. We want to average a 3–7 minute read on our articles, and this translates to a range between 900–1800 words. If you feel like you’ve produced amazing work below or above this range, still feel free to submit! In the end, we prioritize quality.
  3. Editing. We want our writers to edit the bulk of their articles themselves. This includes spell-checking and basic grammar. We will, however, communicate with our writers about reviewing structure and prose.

Submission Guidelines

You’ve now written your draft, and it’s time to submit!
