A poem
Let me seduce you with words and language
Softly caress with plot twists, turns, and action
Whisper sweet nothings of nail-biting suspense
Tense intrigues, high stakes, and danger
Hold your gaze with mystery, mind games
And historical romances
Let me wrap you in my warm-blooded blanket
Of poetry, drama, crime stories, and espionage
Lie with you on the sofa as you choose
From a delightfully delectable offering of
Comedy, science fiction, action, and true-life stories
Until entwined in your heart and mind
They explode with emotions, feelings, takeaways, and meanings
Let me flirt with you again and again
Tempting your sensibilities with a scintillating array of vocabulary
Enticing you with rhyme and simile; hyperbole and oxymoron
Feeding you with sweet words of hope and confidence
And the promise of endless possibilities
Till overcome and sated you demand sweet encore
As you levitate to blissful life-changing conclusions
