The transition from the pursuit of narrow selfish desires to the Art of Giving

The habitual way of marching through the path of the pursuit of narrow selfish desires leads the mind to inevitable traps, that accumulate stress. These negative stress can be diffused, via the mindfulness techniques, thereby broadening the mindset. This is a process shown by the upward spiral shown in the right side. This upward spiral of Positive Dispositionality comes from the research on positive psychology by Barbara Fredrickson — https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0272735810000425

This positive dispositional and therefore achieving the “Broaden and Building” of the upward spiral, the human mind is ready to take on the perpetual growth process with a higher purpose. This perpetual growth of the mind is propelled by the #ArtofGiving.

The art of giving in the Vedas is known as Yajna and the foundation of the upward spiral of mindfulness is known as Dhyana.
