In the last couple of months, I have shared many awesome stories and many of my loyal followers really appreciated my posts.

One such post was about my secrets which helped me to get 1000 followers in less than 30 days.

If you have read that, you might know this that I’m going to share today.

Anyway, I try to follow all of them as much as possible and it works like hell.

That’s why I call myself a growth hacker.

But, lately, I noticed that my Medium account growth is lacking at some point.

What actually happened here?

  • As usual, I’m sharing great content.
  • Readers are loving my post.
  • Getting new followers and subscribers.
  • Applying all my secret strategies.

Yes, there is slight slow growth.

But, why??

I have figured it out.

Thankfully as always, this will be available for all readers for free.

What’s the reason?

Before I share that, let me share a very basic fundamental fact that either people don’t know or simply ignore them.

That’s why my account growth was also slowing down.

Medium, Facebook, and any other content-sharing platforms expect its users to be active on the app and website as much as possible on daily basis.

That’s why, they like people to share something that others can engage, like, and share.

Moreover, community sites like to have a give and take relationships with their creators.

I mean, the more you help the platform and interact with its users the more they help you grow.

Certainly, other things matter as well but this can’t be ruled out.

So, I can say.

You have to read other authors' stories, comment and engage on the platform.

Basically, I was more actively only writing high-quality articles lately.

In the beginning, I was mostly reading, sharing, and commenting on other stories and that was helping me in many ways.

  • My readers were reading my comments and checking my profile. That was giving me more exposure, followers, and readers.
  • Some collaboration requests were sent to me.
  • The medium was also helping me to reach more people due to my high level of engagement on the Medium app and site.
  • Sometimes comments also rank on posts and that helps.

There were many benefits.

Though, due to lack of time and other reasons, I forgot to dedicate a lot of time to read other authors' articles.

  • I was not reading.
  • Rarely commenting.
  • Least engaging.

As a result, my reach, followers, and account growth got impacted.

Though, I’m not making any money on the medium from Medium Partner Program but I love writing.

When people appreciate my work, it feels awesome.

So, I can’t leave this platform because I’m not making any money.

Summary

Medium is a wonderful platform and just like others it also requires your attention as well as high-value content.

Being in a community, you can’t take the leverage to be a writer only.

That will certainly not help you in your goals and badly impact your account growth.

I don’t mean that you will not get any followers but it badly impacts the growth of your community page.

I will advise you to read, write, share, and collaborate.

That’s the best advice other than what I have shared in previous posts.

Give 50 caps on this post to help it reach more people so that they can take benefit as well.

It's time to take a leave.

Thanks for your valuable time 😘
