I’m not afraid to fail.

Every time I’ve failed, it’d led to amazing discoveries about myself, my art, my life, or my journey. So, I embraced failure as a past-time hobby because it often springs up hoping to surprise me.

Shocker! I’m not surprised anymore.

Instead, I prepare for a 100% success rate with my endeavors, knowing I can absorb the sting of failure and have the resilience to try again.

Why?

Because failing isn’t the gateway to hell. It is the key that unlocks the treasure map to our success if we’re persistent enough to grow through it.

Sincerely, we’ll never know what's on the other side of epic failure if we don't:

— Accept failure as a constant in our lives and creative journey.

— Deal with the uncomfortable realities paired with our growth.

— Get up on our feet when we hit rock bottom.

— Keep taking action and strive to do better.

Some of the many reasons we don’t grow through our failures are because we are terrified, doubtful, feel unprepared, or hesitant to make the jump.

But who said we couldn’t fail forward? Who said we couldn’t acknowledge our feelings and trust issues with failure and still keep moving?

Achieving our goals is like discovering a chest full of gold on a deserted Island at the edge of the world.

It just lies there waiting for us to push through the storm, battles, and dead ends to get to it. So why let a series of unsuccessful attempts stop us from discovering our treasure?

Despite encountering failure, explorers remained eager to uncover secrets hidden in the sands of time. They had the resilience to fail forward after each defeat.

Do we have the resilience to fail forward?

Success lies behind epic failure, but if we cower in defeat, we'll never discover the hidden gems that are ours.

Final Thoughts —

The next time you feel terrified to fail forward, repeat (x3)

— I can.

— I will.

— I must.

The scary justifications why you shouldn't get back up on your feet after an epic fail are the very reasons you should.
