Signs of Introvert People
See if you are an introvert or not
What is Introversion?
Introversion is not any disorder, it’s a state of one’s mind, how one feels comfortable. Some people have a good exposure quality, they love to play, talk, make friends and do a party with fellows while others are not like that. They like to be alone all by themselves, doing their own chores, have quality time with themselves. An introverted person likes to sit quietly and think alone, He won’t like to do chat with others.
Inversion is basically, a focus on the internal feelings, thoughts, ideas and beliefs rather than exposure to outer environment and people.
On the other hand, an extrovert is totally the opposite. This is a lot different person, he would laugh in a loud voice, chatter, make friends, would always love to party. He will not keep his thoughts into himself he would rather prefer the expression of this mind world in this speech. There are many signs that would tell that you are an introvert or an extrovert. So here are some traits of introverts. This might help you to choose whether you are an introvert or not.
Causes of Inversion
In order to know the causes of introversion, we have to go back into the mental history of one’s life span. There are many causes of introversion, which are even hidden from the person himself. Certain events that occur in one’s life have very great impacts.
One of the causes might be such a series of events that continuously give sorrow to someone. For example, a broken family, a continuous fear of losing everything, and an uncertain life graph. Children from broken families can be very disturbed. They have fear and insecurity with everything. They like to be on their own and don’t like to express what they feel. This is one type of introversion.
Escaping somewhere to have time alone to recharge gives them the opportunity to process and reflect on what they have learned.
Secondly, a great trauma might be a cause. These traumas may include the death of a very near one, or an accident. Losing someone very close can cause the thoughts of a person to prevail inside the head. If a person whom you used to express yourself is gone, it would serve a big deal in indulging yourself in the world of introversion.
Finally, sometimes it’s by birth. It might be anyone’s nature to not interact and participate with the outer world.
Signs
There are many such introverts that portray their habits in such a loud tone of events. The early symptoms and signs of such a state of mind might be something like the ones listed below.
1. Crowd drains your energies
Often after seeing a lot of people or interacting with fellows for a lot of time you might feel exhausted and drained. If this often happens with you then it’s a warning sign of being an introvert. Extrovert people feel energetic after interactions while introvert people feel lethargy.
If you feel in such a way you might have some signs of introversion.
2. Enjoy loneliness
An introverted person enjoys an evening full of loneliness, with a cup of tea, hobbies, interests, or would read a novel for himself.
He loves to wander alone in parks, a peaceful walk beside a pond. It gives him positivity. People around him would ask to hang out and go out for a drive but he would prefer sitting in the living room, watching his favorite show.
It’s not always the case. All introverts don’t want to be alone all the time, or they are not totally cut off from society. It’s just a part of their life. Its preference, not a necessity. They like to be alone, but not always.
3. Difficulty in trusting someone
Some people have trust issues with others, especially with those from who they expect the most. An introverted person would always go a mile in testing the trustfulness of the other person. He will not at all talk to someone about their personal issues and concerns. They won’t let anyone enter their territory until they trust someone completely.
An introverted person would always try to test other’s sincerity, in order to make sure that the other person isn’t doing mysterious harm to him. Such an attitude is a defensive mode of his life. This is why most introverted people stay quiet all the time because they are observing everything closely.
4. Drawn to jobs that ensure independence
People with clear signs of introversion always like to indulge themselves in jobs with require minimum human interaction.
They would prefer an independent job. For example, an introvert might enjoy working as a writer, accountant, computer programmer, graphic designer, pharmacist, or artist.
5.Possessive
Possessiveness means total attention and love to someone. Introvert is possessive of their loved ones and they are limited. They love to hang out with them and don’t like them to interact with anyone else. They love, care, and attend to them in all possible ways and are purely sincere to the partner.
Being possessive means you’re being a little selfish about people or things in your life: you’re clinging to them tightly and saying “Mine!”
This might be one of the traits of an introverted person.
IN A NUTSHELL
Introversion is perfectly normal. If you find, however, that your introverted tendencies are the result of anxiety that impacts your normal, day-to-day functioning, you must have a single person in your life whom can act like a cure to you.
